OUR GUESTS STAY AT MINADO ECO LODGE
Our Minado Eco Lodge (S=08deg.; 39.972'; E-158 deg. 11.277') sits on lovely, private Turupu Island (2 km in circumference) across the bay from Mbili Village. In less than a minute’s walk, you can be in the sea experiencing rich and colorful marine life in less than 3 m/ 10 feet of water. The lodge features 2 lovely guest rooms, full kitchen, and a large dining relaxing area, with a lower deck for reading, napping, just watching the view. Separate toilet and shower rooms are just down the hall. Our pride and joy is our new jetty extension with its leaf roofed pavilion, where one can dine, relax, play games, visit, do computer work or just enjoy the view and watch the birds that travel back and forth and the bats that zoom in at twilight. Clear nights often find us out on its deck marvelling at the moon and stars. Bookshelves provide ample reading material. As our maximum capacity is 4 guests, you are assured of lots of personal attention to your needs and wants. We are tiny, and choose to stay that way. It enables us to "give our best to our guests" and really get to know the people from all over the world who come to visit us.
We strive to serve delicious, well balanced meals with lots and lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, so our guests will feel at their best to enjoy their diving and other activities. Simple snacks and fruits, coffee and tea are always available. We have power (both 110 and 240, solar and generator)- lights and plugs for computers, chargers, etc. AND- best of all- we want you to feel part of our family and make yourselves completely at home.
All prices are current as of January 2019 and are subject to change without notice.
We require 50% of lodging down payment to confirm your reservation. This can be done via bank transfer to my bank in the Solomons. For the balance, diving, and other activities, cash or bank transfer/check. As of Jan. 1, 2019, we can actually take physical credit cards. We are working on getting permission to accept CC’s for deposits, but that has not happened yet.
ALL PRICES ARE IN SOLOMON DOLLARS (SBD) AND INCLUDE ALL MEALS AND SNACKS. COFFEE, TEA, BUSH LIME JUICE AND A VARIETY OF SNACKS ARE ALWAYS AVAILABLE.
